Anyone who knows me well knows that I love frozen precipitation of all kinds: snow, ice, sleet, freezing rain, etc. I’m sure it’s a pain for lots of people, but I enjoy how everything shuts down for a little bit. Life crawls to a stand-still and waits for the storm to be over. I get a kick out of watching the weather transform the appearance of everything that it covers – it makes the world seem so… clean.

P.S. Yes, I did just break my own h-scroll. :O

It’s times like these, that I’m proud to be a human being.

To encourage viewers to submit more comments, I decided to disable comment moderation. Now you can have the satisfaction of seeing your comments appear immediately instead of waiting for me to approve each one.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t locate the WordPress moderation controls, a guide by “Geekycoder” got me there. For future reference:
How to disable comment moderation in Wordpress
Login to wordpress account. Go to Option main tab, then select Discussion sub-tab.
Uncheck (no tick) the following two options:
- An administrator must always approve the comment
- Comment author must have a previously approved comment
So… proceed with the commentating!

Gwen just started updating her blog again, which should make for an interesting read for those of you who know us (and maybe some who don’t).

Erin posted over on Doodlebutt about her new house! Definitely makes me want to start looking for one of my own… hmm.. hopefully in the next few months… maybe moving by early May?
Pretty exciting times – though I will have to start mowing the lawn… hmm… maybe we could hold off just a little while longer…

As you can see from my “ultra-cool, ultra-trendy xfire gamer profile” I’ve been playing a bit of Call of Duty 4, lately. It’s a First-Person Shooter, that basically takes place in modern times. A few weeks ago, I told my friend Jerm that it was high-time he got me hooked on a video game for a change of pace. He poked around for a while, but finally suggested COD4.
I haven’t enjoyed the multiplayer aspects of a FPS for a long time, so it’s been nice to get back into it. Out of 55 ranks, today I hit 54, so I’m nearly maxed out. The simple, but significant “RPG” elements in the game create a variety that I’ve found lacking in many other games of this type. So far the re-playability has been good in multiplayer.
We’ll see how it “plays out” as I try to figure out what I really want to be spending my time and resources on. Any suggestions? I love comments – if you’re reading this, let me know. Prease?
This is post #1 for the week, as promised. Since it’s “so early” in the week you may even get… TWO!

This will be my “personal” blog… in other words; you should be able to understand what I’m talking about here. People who know me, on whatever level, are my intended audience. There may be those of you out there that don’t yet know me, but for whatever reason are still reading and you’re welcome to read as well.
At the beginning I am going to promise 1 post for each “work week”. This is post #1 and isn’t going to say much.
